PRODUCTION
The olive has always been the symbol of the Mediterranean. Its
antient tree,its fruits,and, of course, its olive oil have always
been appreciated as the source of health.
Olive picking in a traditional way makes the contemporary man
come back to his roots. There is something almost mystical in
standing under the olive tree and picking its fruits.
Many of our guests intended to stay for a day or two, make some
photographs of the olive pickers, take a bottle of olive oil
.But
they stayed for days picking the olives and trying to find out
the reasons of pleasure and peace that they felt under the olive
trees.

TRADITIONAL VODICE CARNIVAL (opening events, the greatest
Dalmatian children's carnival, parades and final festivities
of Shrove Tuesday)
Vodice has preserved the old carnival customs that usually unmask
the human characters, reveal the secrets and make fun of current
affairs.
The Vodice Carnival welcomes evrybody , with or without disguise
and that is probably why this carnival has been so popular for
years.

THE EASTER REGATTA (a week before the Easter)
Every year the Easter regatta takes place in Vodice and it marks
the beginning of the sailing season. Hundreds of the best sailors
compete for the prestigeous prizes. The regatta also means the
beginning of the tourist season.
The hotels reopen , the first guests arrive, everyone wants
to give his best for the comming season.
