Welcome to the submarine world of Kvarner!

This new edition is a follow-up to a series of earlier publications in which we have tried to give you some general information about the specific tourist assets of our country. Owing to many of its advantages, from the intriguing submarine scenery to warm waters, diving can certainly be an exciting reason for coming to Kvarner.

If you were spellbound watching The Deep Blue or reading Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, then you are ready to take a deep breath and deeply plunge into the Kvarner sea.

Or if none of the artists inspired with his or her diving experience has yet kindled your fancy, the more reason for you to go for the underwater adventure yourself.

Anyway, we are inviting you to see the beauty of the world of silence under the professional and skilful guidance of our diving instructors.

Our invitation is open all year round. Not just because we are diving here all year round, but also because regardless of the season you can stay underwater only a part of your time : That's why we've seen to it that in between diving sessions you can enjoy equally exciting events, excursions, sports activities. Kvarner has a long tradition in tourism. Owing to its extraordinary climatic and geographic features, Kvarner has been inhabited since ancient times. This region has preserved all the essential traces of human diligence and resourcefulness over the past centuries, so even a glimpse at our other publications or web pages will convince you that there are plenty of ways in which you can suit your holidays or business trips to your own preferences.
